South-African SASCOC fifth NOC to use Podium
The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) recently signed a contract with Infostrada Sports Group for its Podium application. Podium is an online tool which NOCs, International Sport Federations, Sponsors and any other decision makers in sports can use to monitor their performance data as well as performances of other competing nations.

It is rare that non-media companies acquire the rights for a sports event. In 2011 however, funeral insurance company DELA became the first Dutch company to do so when they bought the rights for the Dutch women's national volleyball team. Infostrada Sports Group was consequently offered to produce content about the national team on behalf of DELA.
